One core workspace.
Two editions.

Bowra Community is the MIT-licensed edition of Bowhead. The commercial edition, Bowhead Business, adds enterprise organization controls to the shared core.

Configuration, integrations, permissions, and workflow readiness determine availability. Agent evaluation and CI/CD are opt-in.

Community. Yours to operate.

Community keeps knowledge, document matrices, structured extraction, Skills, MCP tools, analysis, reports, scheduling, and Agent version CI/CD together.

The Community project uses MIT. It requires no commercial license activation or renewal and has no built-in user-count cap. Operators supply their own infrastructure, model access, and integration credentials. Configured usage budgets, authentication, and resource permissions still apply.

Commercial. Controls for your organization.

Bowhead Business extends the shared workspace with these commercial capabilities:

Organization branding

Manage the organization name, logo, theme assets, and branding publication workflow. Community retains its default Bowra identity and personal appearance settings.

Enterprise identity

Configure enterprise OIDC authentication and identity metadata integration. Shared account security, sessions, and resource authorization remain in both editions.

Enterprise audit administration

Use the team audit workbench, cross-member audit queries, dedicated audit administration, and audit CSV export. Community retains event recording, execution traces, own usage, and operational diagnostics.

Organization-management APIs

Administer external member, Space, and membership operations through the commercial organization API. This boundary does not remove Community’s built-in member and Space management.

Business deployments follow their commercial license terms, including licensed features and seats. Pricing, trial terms, hosting options, and support commitments are not specified in this comparison.

Core permissions stay in both.

Commercial controls do not bypass resource authorization. Teams, Spaces, ownership, sharing, execution checks, usage recording, and configured budgets continue to apply.

Both editions need configured models and tools for the work they perform. A capability included in source is not a promise that every workflow is enabled or production-ready in every deployment.
